How do you spell that?

Monday night. So I'm staying on track with my eating and activity, which is great, and now I've developed a lovely case of plantar fasciitis, which is not so great. When I woke up this morning, I basically hobbled to the bathroom and that continued for hours after I started moving around. I've had this problem before - when I was in the midst of losing 110 pounds, as a matter of fact - and it can be really wicked and tenacious. The treatment is rest, ice, and lots of stretching, so that's going to be so much fun for me. Seems as though I'm going to have to delve into the flexibility thing now, whether or not I want to.

Ouch! Here's hoping it doesn't last too long.

I read that too quickly and thought to myself..."damn, that is really a bad case of warts she's got on her feet if its causing her to hobble!" Ok, duh. SO I googled "plantar fasciitis" and its not warts {planter warts!?)and heel spurs sound a lot more painful than warts! Rest up, ice up and stretch!

Ok, I'm with Dazed. I totally thought you had a wicked case of warts! Due to my stupidity though, I had a great laugh. Thanks!

You've got your entire reader population googling "plantar fasciitis" LOL! I didn't think "planters warts", though, I just thought, "huh?". Hope it gets better soon.

Can you believe it, I actually knew what you were talking about...unfortunately for my husband! He and his sister's have all suffered from plantar fascitis! The last time was years ago and he tries to avoid being barefoot, this seems to help. In the house and on the beach, he wears thick form fitting flip flop type of shoes, the support helps with the pain. But you probably know all this..
I just hate getting shots so anything to prevent one is ok in my book!
